Απεριόριστη αγάπη

"Let your love flow outward through the universe,
To its height, its depth, its broad extent,
A limitless love, without hatred or enmity.
Then as you stand or walk,
Sit or lie down,
As long as you are awake,
Strive for this with a one-pointed mind;
Your life will bring heaven to earth."

Sutta Nipata

The Sutta Nipata ("The Sutta Collection"), the fifth book of the Khuddaka Nikaya, consists of 71 short suttas divided into five vaggas (chapters).




"άσε την αγάπη σου να πλημμυρίσει το σύμπαν,
σε όλο του το ύψος, το βάθος, και το πλάτος,
μια αγάπη χωρίς όρια, χωρίς μίσος ούτε εχθρότητα,
και τότε, καθώς στέκεσαι ή περπατάς,
κάθεσαι ή ξαπλώνεις
Για όσο έχεις αυτή την επίγνωση,
προσπάθησε γι' αυτό με ένα στόχο στο νου
και η ζωή σου θα φέρει τον παράδεισο στη γη"
