ΤΟ ΚΕΝΤΡΟ

Το Κάρμα Γκυάλτσεν Λινγκ είναι ένα Βουδιστικό κέντρο που λειτουργεί από το 2006 και κάνει προσιτή στη Βόρεια Ελλάδα την αυθεντική και πολύτιμη διδασκαλία του Βούδα, η οποία ανθεί πλέον και στη Δύση, καθώς ανταποκρίνεται στις βαθύτερες ανάγκες του σημερινού ανθρώπου για εσωτερική γαλήνη και αυτογνωσία.

Στο χώρο μας γίνονται Ανοικτοί Εβδομαδιαίοι Διαλογισμοί και δίνονται τακτικά Βουδιστικές Διδασκαλίες, Σεμινάρια και Μυήσεις από Αναγνωρισμένους Δασκάλους από τη χώρα μας και το εξωτερικό.

Το Κέντρο μας είναι υποστηρικτικό και ανοικτό στους Δασκάλους και στους μαθητές όλων των αυθεντικών Βουδιστικών Σχολών και Παραδόσεων, ακολουθώντας το οικουμενικό πνεύμα του Rime, το μη-σεχταριστικό κίνημα, το οποίο ξεκίνησε τον 19ο αιώνα στο Θιβέτ.

Πνευματικός καθοδηγητής του Κέντρου είναι ο Θιβετανικής καταγωγής Λάμα Τζίγκμε Ρίνποτσε, Γραμματέας του 17ου Κάρμαπα, Τρίνλευ Τάγιε Ντόρτζε. 
Το Κάρμα Γκυάλτσεν Λινγκ αναγνωρίστηκε το 2006 ως ευκτήριος οίκος (αρ. αδείας: 14432/Α3, 01/03/2006). Από το 2021 λειτουργεί ως κέντρο της Βουδιστικής Κοινότητας στην Θεσσαλονίκη και έδρα του "Συλλόγου Φίλων Θιβετανικής Φιλοσοφίας Karma Gyaltsen Ling". Ο Σύλλογος αποτελεί μέλος της European Buddhist Union (Ευρωπαϊκής Βουδιστικής Ένωσης).

                                   

ΤΟ ΝΤΑΡΜΑ

Ο ιστορικός Βούδας Σιντάρτα Γκοτάμα (6ο αιώνας π.Χ), μέσα από εντατική άσκηση και βαθύ διαλογισμό, έφτασε στη τέλεια Αφύπνιση (Φώτιση). Αφιέρωσε τον υπόλοιπο χρόνο της ζωής του στη διδασκαλία του Ντάρμα (της Αλήθειας που απελευθερώνει).

Οι βασικές του διδασκαλίες, κοινές σε όλες τις Βουδιστικές Σχολές, μεταδίδονται από το Μικρό Όχημα του Βουδισμού (Χιναγιάνα), που οδηγεί στη προσωπική απελευθέρωση. Στο Μεγάλο Όχημα (Μαχαγιάνα), ο ασκητής επιδιώκει να επιφέρει τη Φώτιση όλων των αισθανόμενων όντων, μέσα από την πλήρη ανάπτυξη της Συμπόνιας και της Σοφίας (Μποντιτσίτα). Γι’ αυτό το σκοπό, παίρνει τους όρκους των Μποντισάτβα και μπαίνει στο μονοπάτι της Φώτισης, για να είναι σε θέση να βοηθήσει όλα τα όντα. Το Αδαμάντινο ή Ταντρικό Όχημα του Βουδισμού (Βατζραγιάνα), το πνευματικό μονοπάτι που γεννήθηκε στην Ινδία και άνθισε κυρίως στο Θιβέτ, ανήκει στη Μαχαγιάνα. Μεταφέρει τις βαθύτερες διδασκαλίες του Βούδα και περιέχει εξαιρετικά αποτελεσματικές τεχνικές, τα λεγόμενα «επιδέξια μέσα», τα οποία είναι ικανά να οδηγήσουν γρήγορα τον ασκητή στην τέλεια ωρίμανση.

                                   

ΟΙ ΔΑΣΚΑΛΟΙ

Το Κέντρο μας ακολουθεί πνευματικά τις βαθιές παραδόσεις της Μαχαμούντρα (Μεγάλη Σφραγίδα) και του Τζόκτσεν (Μεγάλη Τελειότητα).

Η πρώτη έρχεται μέσα από τη πνευματική μας καταγωγή από την ασκητική παράδοση των Κάρμα Κάγκιου, η οποία ξεκίνησε από τον μεγάλο Ινδό Μαχασίντα Τιλόπα και συνεχίστηκε από τους έξοχους Ναρόπα, Μάρπα, Μιλαρέπα, Γκαμπόπα, καθώς και τη σειρά επανενσαρκώσεων των Κάρμαπα- έως τον σημερινό 17ο Κάρμαπα Trinley Thaye Dorje, με την ευλογία του οποίου ιδρύθηκε το Κέντρο. Το Κέντρο λειτουργεί υπό την άμεση πνευματική καθοδήγηση του Γραμματέα και Εκπροσώπου της Α.Α. Κάρμαπα στη Δύση, Σεβάσμιου Τζίγκμε Ρίνποτσε.

Η δεύτερη προέρχεται από το σύνδεσμό μας με τη Σχολή των Νυίγκμα (Αρχαίων), που ξεκίνησε τον 8ο αιώνα μ.Χ. με τον Μεγάλο Ινδό Δάσκαλο Πάντμα Σαμπάβα (Γκούρου Ρίνποτσε), ο οποίος πρώτος εισήγαγε το Ντάρμα στο Θιβέτ. Συνεχίστηκε με τους επιφανείς μαθητές του, όπως ο βασιλιάς Τρίσονγκ Ντέτσεν, η Γιέσε Τσόγκυαλ, ο Βαιροτσάνα, ο Λονγκτσένπα, ο Τζίγκμε Λίνγκπα, ο Πάτρουλ Ρίνποτσε, ο Τζάμυανγκ Κυέντσε Ουάνγκπο, κ.α.

Tο Κέντρο μας συνδέεται ιδιαίτερα με την δραστηριότητα του Σεβ. Λάμα Γκέντυν Ρίνποτσε (1918-1997), απεσταλμένου του 16ου Κάρμαπα στην Ευρώπη, όπως επίσης με την δραστηριότητα δύο άλλων μεγάλων σύγχρονων Δασκάλων, του Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche και της Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche.

THE CENTER

Karma Gyaltsen Ling is a Buddhist Center that makes available in Northern Greece the authentic and precious Teachings of the Buddha, that flourish nowadays in the West, as they respond to the humanity’s deep need for inner peace and self knowledge.

Weekly meditations and Buddhist teachings, seminaries and empowerements given by authorised teachers of the Buddha Dharma, from our country and from abroad, are regularly taking place in our center.

The center is open and supportive to all the Teachers and students of Buddha Dharma, following the non-sectarian ecumenical spirit of the Rime tradition of the 19th century.

Spiritual Guide of Karma Gyaltsen Ling is the Tibetan Lama Ven. Jigme Rinpoche, Secretary of 17th Karmapa Trinley Taye Dorje. 
Karma Gyaltsen Ling was an officially recognized Temple by the Greek Ministry of Education and Religion (permission no: 14432/A3, 01/03/2006). Since 2021, the Center works as a community center for the Buddhist community in Thessaloniki, and specifically as seat of the "Association of Friends of Tibetan Philosophy Karma Gyaltsen Ling". The Association is a member of the European Buddhist Union.
  

THE DHARMA

The historical Buddha Sakyamuni (around 600 bC), after a long quest and deep meditation, reached the state of perfect Enlightenment. Subsequently, he dedicated the rest of its life to the teaching of the Dharma (the Truth that liberates).

In the Mahayana, the Great Vehicle of Buddhism, the practitioner does not aim only at his own liberation, but at the liberation of all sentient beings through the cultivation of Wisdom and Compassion (Bodhicitta). For this purpose he follows the Bodhisattva’s path (the quest of Enlightenment in order to be able to help all sentient beings).

The spiritual path of Vajrayana, the Adamantine Vehicle of Buddhism, that arose in India and flourished in Tibet and the Himalayas, is part of Mahayana. It includes the deepest teachings of the Buddha and transmits extremely effective techniques, the so-called ‘skillful means’, able to bring the practitioner to perfect Enlightenment in quite a short time.

THE TEACHERS

The center follows the deep spiritual traditions of Mahamoudra (Great Seal) and Dzogchen (Great Perfection).

The first affiliation comes from our spiritual descendance from the Karma Kagyu practice tradition, which has its origins from the great Indian Mahasiddha Tilopa (998 – 1069), who received these particular teachings directly from the primordial Buddha Vajradhara. His disciple was the famous Indian Mahasiddha Naropa (1016 – 1100), teacher of the first Tibetan holder of this lineage, Marpa the Translator (1012 – 1097). Marpa became teacher of the great Tibetan yogi, saint and poet Milarepa (1052 – 1135). Disciple of Milarepa was Gampopa (1079 – 1153), teacher of the first Karmapa, Dusum Kyenpa (1110 – 1193). The present 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Taye Dorje gave his blessing for the establishement of our Center, during his first visit in Thessaloniki, in August 2005.The center is under the direct spiritual guidance of Venerable Jigme Rinpoche, who is the Secretary and Representative of H.H. Karmapa in the West.

The second affiliation comes from our connection with the Nyigma school of Tibetan Buddism, which began the 8th centrury with the great Indian Saint Padma Sambhava, (Guru Rinpoche), who first introduced the Buddha Dharma in Tibet. The tradition continued with his Great Disciples, such as King Trisong Detchen, the dakini Yeshe Tsogyal, Vairochana, Longchenpa, the Treasure Revealer Jigme Lingpa, Patrul Rinpoche, the great scolar Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo and others...

Our center has strong connection especially with the activity of the late Ven. Gendun Rinpoche (1918-1997), who was sent by 16th Karmapa in Europe and also with the activity of two of the greater contemporary Teachers of Vajrayana, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche.
